Use of generated code

Postby mdw » Tue Feb 23, 2016 3:16 pm

QxEntityEditor provides this neat feature to generate the C++ entities (Export/Export to C++ project).

Unfortunately I am unable to find any references how to best integrate this project with the rest of the software.

Its pro file contains this header so it should be maintained as a separate library (dll) project.
#################################################################################################
## File created by QxEntityEditor 1.1.8 (2016/02/23 11:18) : please, do NOT modify this file ! ##

Could you please give some hints, e.g. if it is useful to create a Qt subdir project which integrates this library, e.g.:
TEMPLATE = subdirs
SUBDIRS = DAL/QxOrmTest.gen.pro Tester/QxOrmTestTester.pro

and which entries should be added to the rest of the pro files.

Hello,

In the samples directory of QxEntityEditor package, there is the qxBlogExec project example.
This is an example how to use generated files.

EDIT : a documentation about it is available here : https://www.qxorm.com/qxorm_en/manual_q ... gs_example
